We stayed in several cabins over the span of a week and this one was amazing! One of the cleanest rooms, awesome amenities, easy to find location, easy parking, and amazing hosts. We will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

My partner and I had an excellent experience with Trapper John's Cabin in Talkeetna! We stayed in Hugo's Cabin, and thought it was absolutely perfect. Check in and check out information was given to us via e-mail, and getting into the cabin was super easy and convenient. The bath water was more than hot enough (no shower if that's a dealbreaker for you), and the cabin was stocked with everything we could've needed. The thermostat was regulated with an electric fireplace, which made the experience quite cozy with the rain outside. There's a fire pit with seating and extra firewood available as well. It's not a luxury hotel, so don't expect glitz and glamour, but Hugo's cabin was downright delightful.
There a multiple cabins; we stayed in Hugo. Just the right amount of space for the 2 of us. We enjoyed the privacy. Soaking in the tub was nice.
My favorite rental cabin in downtown Talkeetna. Cozy log cabin with loads of character. Nice gas stove, rustic vintage kitchen, and record player with a great collection of old albums. Short walk from downtown shops and restaurants.
