My meal was good. Fish and chips. Thw best food since I arrived in AK. I had the house ginger beer. I loved it. The server was super nice and remained so even when the power went out and he had to serve and cash out in the dark.

Tasty, smooth beer and strong cocktails. We got appetizers on the patio and the wings & crab dip both hit the spot. The atmosphere is great, it's a nice building with a large front patio and a fire pit that looks out onto Talkeetna's main street. Great for people watching. Our server was very busy and the service was a little slow, but the manager came out to get our second drink order, which I appreciated. A must try if you're in the area!

We were quickly seated. The waitress came by and said she’d bring water but it never appeared. She took our order, the Matt Porter and stout were great. The seafood chowder lacked seafood and was really just celery broth. The cod sandwich was excellent. The waitress reappeared after we finished eating and we relayed our disappointment in the chowder—it was celery and broth. The waitress credited our bill without us asking for that. Wish we had had a better meal or eaten across the street.

Food and drinks were above average. But the highlight of this review was the attitude from one of the male server. His serves with an impatient and condescending tone. He may sound polite but you can feel he is unwilling to serve. Not to mention, racist as well. And lastly, demands a certain amount of tips to be given. Never coming coming back to this place.

We ordered veggies burger and hummus with pita bread. They ran out of most of the items on the menu. They apologized to us. Great good and great service. Definitely will come back again.
