A beautiful viewing area of the river and, most importantly, the Denali Mountain range. On our visit, the weather gods helped us with a semi-clear view of the big 3, Hunter, Foraker, and Denali.
It was just ok because it started to get cloudy and the views are Not worth it when that happens. The Chase trail is obnoxious. The river looked nice in some areas. The surrounding city (Talkeetna) is cute, but older, and pretty busy, and very touristy. Some fun gift stores though.
There is cloud so no Denali here. But the view is still really nice.
Awesome view of Mt Denali from this riverfront park. Nice short walk along shoreline. Parking and restrooms available nearby.
Great view of Denali and some ice. Great place to watch the sunset.. when it does
