Amazing service amazing people and amazing food. If you were ever in Kalamazoo, you have to stop here. I so wish I would’ve taken pictures, but it still wouldn’t have done justice for an amazing food service and pricing is unbelievable. I wish I had more to offer. I matched my bill and tip because I was so impressed please at all means stop at this side brick right off the road mom and Pop place, there’s nothing better that I have found in the last 10 years!!!!!

New owners recently took over. One of them comes in and does dishes when it’s busy and that’s the only time he comes in. I am close with a waitress that worked here for over a decade for the previous owners. All the regular customer’s know her. One day, Mr. Dishes (owner) comes in and ends up yelling at this waitress, calling her useless in front of customers. She doesn’t work there anymore, and I will not be coming back. Food is great, but I’m not supporting these new owners.

I had the pot roast dinner tonight and was not disappointed, in fact, took half of it home. I was too full to have one of their delicious desserts but they were tempting. I substituted my veggie side for their homemade potato salad and brought it home for later as well (I love it). Homemade comfort food dinner specials as well as delicious soups, sandwiches and salads, will have you coming back. Locally owned with owner on site and putting out all this deliciousness daily !

I loved their pecan chicken salad but today it was an aweful experience I called my order in ahead of time but still had to wait 20mins.The lady at the register said she was new. I got my food looked at the salad and had to go back in as there was no salad dressing. The salad Was also so much smaller. It was a very frustrating experience.
