Awesome staffing most days other than when my daughter and i went saturday evening and asked a gentleman if he could look in the stockroom for something for us and he replied "i know for a fact we don't have that" without even stopping what he was doing and standing from bent position to help and talk to us. Other than him we absolutely love shopping here.
Cheep Groceries. They suggest that you save about 40% over buying the equivalent stuff at a large grocery store. That seems about right from my estimation. Most of the generic brands that I've tried here are of good quality and are worth buying. Many items they have the name brand available too for a significant savings over most other shopping locations. I don't go here as my only grocery stop, but I like to supplement my grocery shopping by starting here, and saving a lot on the items I get here.
Save a Lot is right down the street from where we live, so we are here quite often. I like the layout of the store, although I don't like that they sell alcohol there now. They have friendly staff (I love Ronda! She is a cashier that is simply wonderful!) and the store is almost always clean. The only other thing I can complain about is their produce department. I've found that if I buy produce from there, I have to use it right away, like 2-3 days, or it goes bad. I once bought a green bell pepper on a Saturday and when I went to use it on the following Wednesday, it was already shriveling up and starting to get slimy. Learned my lesson. Don't buy fresh until you're ready to use it.
Great looking store. Some organics. However we don't eat gmo's or roundup because it contaminates the lakes and rivers and we like to fish and eat fish.we want to leave our waterways in better shape for our kids and grandkids.
Great prices. Fruit is sometimes old and watch the dates on the meat. Otherwise I really love the savings I get shopping here. Employees are very helpful and polite.
