I rode my bike down the Truckee River bike trail, called the Tahoe-Pyramid bikeway, to go to the Summit Christian Church Baptism,🙏 which was performed in the Truckee River. Riding down the paved bike path to Rock Park was one of the most beautiful things I've seen. Once arriving at the park, the Baptism had already begun and over 50 people were born again through baptism here at the river. A large group of people gathered and cheered on those giving their lives to Christ. The park was well-groomed and the picnic areas were clean. Plentiful parking.

It's a beautiful Park and not crowded at all. There's lots of shade yet also lots of sunny areas. You and your pets can have a picnic in the grass and then sun on a rock along the calm water. Also can't forget to have some ice cream from the ice cream truck to cool you down! And then as if that's not enough, stay until sunset and it will complete your day! The beautiful colors of the sky and the slight cool breeze makes a perfect end to an amazing place.

Beautiful place to see the river. Plenty of geese and ducks having fun. If you time is right you can catch a low flying jet making the approach to Reno Tahoe Airport!

Nice playground area, seasonal restrooms, port-a-potty available, dog friendly, small picnic area, nice spots along the river for fishing. Good place for canoeing.
