Great location, we have stayed here twice. Upper floor suite once, lower floor once. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Sheets had old stains, remote control was filthy and had been obviously untouched. Carpet was old and very obviously needed cleaning. When we checked, we spent the first night without lights in half the unit as the woman at the check-in didn't know how to reset the breaker. It was fixed the next morning. Staff is friendly, location is great. Being clean is really important for us (and having things functional), so we won't return. Upper floor unit was definitely cleaner.

I’m very selective about where I stay. If I’m wanting to stay someplace unique or treat myself to a high end hotel experience, I’m looking for value, without sacrificing my standards. When I found this place online, and wasn’t really sure where it was located, in reference to the distance to the town. When I arrived, I was surprised that the Nordic Lodge sits right in the town center. As I checked in, I was pleased about how friendly the front desk clerk was. My room was on the upper floor of the motel. Although this place is older, it’s been well loved, and taken care of. My room was clean, and relatively quiet. It’s a motel, so you’re always going to have parking lot noise, and people walking by your room. The pool and hot tub are lovely. The pool area backs up to Soda Creek, so it was really relaxing to sit, and listen to the rushing water. I loved my stay at the Nordic Lodge! Was it perfect? No, but often high end hotels are not perfect. It was an excellent value, for the money. If you’re a hotel snob, don’t stay here. If you appreciate character and don’t want to waste your money on expensive lodging, then this is the place for you. The room was pleasant, the pool area was perfect, the location was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for three nights over July 4th holiday. Our daughter was in the parade so we wanted something on the route. The location was perfect. It is within easy walking distance of all of downtown and the river. It's two miles from the Walmart and other box stores. The rooms definitely need to be upgraded. The carpet is very worn. However, they do allow pets so maybe they're reluctant to update the carpets? The beds were comfy. We had plenty of towels. Overall, it was a good stay.

Easy walking to shops in town, the River, and various springs. The hot tub was nice but the pool was closed. Advertised as an apartment with a kitchenette. Has only a microwave and small refrigerator. The bathroom sink is the water/washing source. No coffee pot in the room but there is 24hr coffee in the lobby. Small table with 4 chairs. Our room slept 6. Front desk did not have any extra chairs but let us borrow a Lobby stool if we promised to bring it back. No offer to carry it to the room. Trash was not emptied during the day. We had to dump it ourselves. Cleanliness was fair. There were some coffee drips down the wall in one room, dirty wall switches, and there were small bits of trash under the edge of the bed skirting. One bar of hotel soap and no soap dish for hand washing. Could use hooks in rooms for hanging towels and clothes. Only 5 hangers in the central room area. Although the rooms were large enough to sleep 6, I would not consider this an apartment. The cost was about the same as staying at a mid-priced Disney resort but the quality was more Motel 8.

Good location right downtown. Simple and clean good enough place to lay your head down for the night. Close to Creekside Diner for breakfast and sports bar for evening relaxing.
