This place is super fun to eat at! We had excellent service and amazing food, as well as overall the atmosphere was great. It's fun reading the dollar bill messages stapled to the walls and ceilings. We even called a few of the numbers that requested jokes, Chewbacca noises, or to prove that you are a mountain man 😂. I got the Mahalo Burger (pineapple, teriyaki sauce, and Swiss cheese) and my brother got the John Wayne (BBQ sauce, cheddar, and an onion ring. We talked and laughed with other guests we'd never met before. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. If you are anywhere near this place, please go eat there and leave a dollar bill with a message 😀. The curly fries were amazing as well. We live in Minnesota, but if we're anywhere near this place again (we drove 4 hours out of our way to this place on our road trip and it was worth it)!

This is a great local burger place that was just about packed on a Monday at 5:40. The food came quickly and was good! Fresh veggies and burgers cooked just right. My daughter even designed a dollar for the wall.

The sheer number of creative burgers here borders on intimidating. But when you find one that's magnificent in its preparation- like I did with the cheeseburger topped with sweet chili sauce, peanut butter, pineapple and jalapeño - it's all worth it.

Enjoyable experience and setting for a solid burger in casual atmosphere. We were here (four guests) on a random Wednesday night, but venue was still packed to the rim. Our wait was about 10-15 minutes for a table, so my guess is to plan ahead if on weekend or during season. Despite the controlled chaos, the team was surprisingly quite organized and accommodating with no real gaps in communication or service. Beer selections are diverse, as are the food menu options. There really should be no veto to dine here....as long as you aren't looking for fine dining experience. One member of our group stated, "This would be my weekly hangout, if I lived here". I can't argue.

My friend and I visited Back Door Grill in 2019 and again in 2023. I live in Ontario Canada and she lives 3 hours from Back Door Grill, but it is worth the trip alone for this place! The vibe is a fun mix of winter sport indie with the colourful American Dollar Bills everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. The burgers are fantastic and go hand in hand with their tall thick as heck milkshakes. Our friend from Kentucky said that they have the best sweet potato fries that she has ever had. We cannot wait to go back each and every time we visit Colorado!
