We came in on a Monday around lunchtime and were able to get a table right away. The gentleman at the front was friendly. The service was great. The food came out quick. The bacon cheeseburger was good you could tell they used fresh ground beef. The fish and chips were good, too. Fish was lightly breaded with a golden tint. The hand cut French fries were yummy. All in all, good restaurant is worth a try.

Parking was tough but that's the norm for this area. They were insanely busy but luckily we only had to wait a few minutes to be seated, service took a little while. My husband wanted to try the fried bologna lunch special but they were sold out, bummer. He got the grilled shrimp instead, which was great. I had the fish and chips - the fish was phenomenal. The hand cut fries are perfect. The "painkiller" mixed drink was weirdly good, highly recommend, plus you get to keep the cup! They have a cool vibe inside with vintage decor.

My oysters could have been just a little bit more fried, and the coleslaw needed dressing. Chicken sandwich was excellent and the fries were excellent as well. My shrimp were outstanding. Great little place, wooden here again.

Lucky Tavern was a wonderful, unexpected treat! Jaki our waitress was awesome! Very sociable, energetic, & Fun! Food was delish! Fries tasted like boardwalk fries! Full bar, and plenty of TV’s .

I will never go back to this place! The servers are nasty and rude and will roll their eyes at you. The owner will cuss you because you can’t park out front in THEIR grass. I parked out front in the same spot as another. But it was wrong of me to do so. He stated he did not care to loose our service because he will have hundreds more come through by the end of the night. If I could have this place no stars i would!! My car is the black one and the other customer is the white one.
