Besides honoring the CVS Rewards card and prescriptions, this Longs Drugs carries and sells all the usual things you find at a CVS in the mainland plus items that catered to Hawaiians - Locals slippahs (zori sandals), foods, snacks and drinks, Hawaiian print cooler bags, etc. Hawaiian Souvenirs section is near the front entrance. They also carry Hawaiian wall calendars for a $1 or less (make great gift ideas). Super friendly and helpful staff. They will walk you to the aisle of the item you are looking for.

Thank you CVS for preserving the Longs Drugs name, look, and feel. It brings back a nostalgic feeling of the 60s through 80s. Not to mention, you can find all sorts of local candies and souvenirs. The nostalgia also has the Filipino aisle, something not seen locally in over a decade.

The crew is always helpful and greet you with a smile. Never had a bad experience. The caring and helpful attitude of the staff keeps me coming back. They are awesome.

Have the items on sale in the ad actually in the store! Shout Out to Marissa who was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the products n provided excellent customer service. Kudos to Marissa ! It's because of her that I will be shopping more @ Longs in Lihue n encourage my relatives n friends too.

Get there early on Sunday when they open, that's when the new ads start. If you don't popular items will be sold out. Great place for snacks ,and beer if you have the CVS card. Check out their online ads. Sometimes rude service ,but not often. If your in a hurry, don't come to Hawaii!
