Bad customer service, rude front desk, and owner! After 9 long hours of driving, we arrived at the hotel to find that there were no parking spots left. We parked on the side of a road, right next to the hotel. Then the lady at the front desk started a big argument with us, in front of other hotel guests, that the road is owned by the hotel, and we are not allowed to park there!! She also called the owner, and he mentioned as well that we are not allowed to park on that road. However, we then researched the owner ship of the road on our phones, and it is a PUBLIC road! They changed their mind when we asked them to cancel our reservation. Unbelievable!!!
Room was actually emaculate, only downside was the fact that the toiletries and coffee weren't readily stocked. Staff seemed more than willing to accommodate though, so awesome place to spend a night away with the loved ones or alone. Quiet rooms and floors. A little over priced for what is offered. Personalized rooms cost extra, and "personalized" means own wifi and cable connection. Good place overall.
Breakfast was good, but there was very little lobby space, and a dead bug in my bathroom. Room overall was nice but another room I had smelt like smoke and I had to move.
Bolted body wash in shower didn't work. Used shampoo..but not advised..leaves skin sticky. Called desk, no one answered twice w/ 20+ rings. Walked length of hotel - took elevator down..not happy... recovering from broken ankle & shoulder. No one at front desk, only one person stationed. I walked in back of desk calling for someone.. no answer. I started writing a note, clerk showed up. Told them what was going on... they offered magic, sky in pie points. Last time we were there (28yrs ago) it was a special get away. Pittsburg is a special memory. We don't have $ to get away often. Clerk gave me little boxed dove soaps. I appreciated the help. I know clerk felt bad but they were not responsible for room soap..... .but I was irritated w/bolted body wash in room not working & the sticky skin from shampoo wash. Grrrrr real ticked. Hotel was good. Clerk was great. The brain that bolted empty/ none working bodywash to wall threw big downer on evening stay. Maybe on next stay 30 yrs from now (98th bday) will be better..we'll bring own soap.
Room was good. the pool area was awful was ran out with large child's birthday party. Could not be in the hot tub because of 8 small children jumped In. I asked for a discount. So it was alot.of money no pool hot tub availability because little babies and children were partying!
