I went in for takeout and when I placed my order I asked for House Salsa. I was told that they discontinued it. I asked if they had any other salsas and was told "no". I don't understand how a Mexican food establishment wouldn't have salsa available.

Chicken had decent flavor but it was dry. Not as good when I had it in my youth. I'll try again and hopefully they were just having an off day.

El Pollo Loco is a solid option. Their chicken is really tasty, and so is their avocado salsa. The rest of the food is pretty standard fare. Service has always been good at this location. As far as gluten options, I think it is pretty safe, though I can't remember ever looking at the official allergens. I have had luck here
