What people are saying
The pharmacist I spoke too was very rude I am here on vacation and had questions regarding the rxs for my mental health that my doctor sent down here due to them needing to be refilled while I was here on vacation. She wasn’t listening to what I was saying was super rude and treated me as if I was some addict instead of being a caring understanding pharmacist… she was completely rude and disrespectful an I don’t appreciate being treated as such especially when I am someone who deals with chronic anxiety an being on this trip in general. Not sure if it’s the same pharmacist that has been there in years past but I’ve never been disrespected by a pharmacist so much in my life. Will be looking into how to report her to someone above her update I reported Katherine Moore to the corporate and the guy also said he was going to send the report to the board of pharmacies because apparently their have been many complaints against her for this reason or for her just being rude in general.
Processed a partial RX transfer on an urgent basis. However, there was a lot of attitude and unhelpfulness surrounding the transaction. She said they had a GoodRX coupon, and if we wanted to use Gold we would have to go inside. We were running close to closing time getting there. We called to let them know we were a couple minutes away, which would be about 5 mins before they closed. We're told we would have to use drive through, and therefore they couldn't, and didn't process the GoodRX, either the coupon they said they had or the gold. I noticed when we arrived, the security shutters were already closed inside.
The pharmacy was great! Script filled in an hour. Very nice compared to most pharmacies that I've dealt with in the past.
The cashiers were excellent, the pharmacist was disrespectfully rude, all bc I was prescribed a narcotic. I was treated like a drug addict. I made a comment as to how I was being treated, another customer felt the same, then she proceeded to tell me “I would be surprised how many people make false documents, (meanwhile my prescription was sent over by the doctor, never touched my hands), and say they are from dmv and it’s fake” Instead of apologizing and correcting the problem. The cashier Sara then proceeded to rush me and give me my change once she say me and the pharmacist was exchanging words. Totally unprofessional and I hope the staff read this bc I will be taking this further.
- COVID BOOSTER SHOT - What a lovely experience. We scheduled a boost COVID shot appointment for Thursday morning around 11:30am. We arrived for the appointment, checked in on the CVS app, went inside, went to the back pharmacy counter which was clearly labeled, and were greeting kindly by someone behind the counter. We did not have our COVID CDC vaccine cards but had our MyIR records up on our phones which showed our both doses and where they were received from and when. They almost didn't take it but the pharmacist came over and said they can use the records but can't issue any CDC card for the booster but that it would be on record. Fine! No worries, we just wanted to get our boosters. She told us to go over and have a seat until she's ready. She came over about 10 minutes later with two little red baskets which contained gloves, an alcohol swab, and the booster shots. 30 seconds later, we are now both boosted and on our way! Well... we did have to complete the mandatory 15 minute observation period. Besides that, we're all good! All in all - very efficient, clean, and organized. It helped that there was no one there too. I'm glad we were able to get this complete while we were in the Outer Banks.
