This is a budget hotel but not the scary kind. It's an older no frills hotel that could use an update but it's pretty clean and has courteous staff. We showed up early and they were able to get the room ready a little earlier than check-in for us. They even called to let us know it was ready. For a basic hotel it does have a couple nice amenities. Our room came with a small microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, small table and even a small safe. It's only three minutes from Harris Beach which is nice. We stayed in room 201 and you could actually see the ocean from our room. I was surprised how much you could see from the room. Bedding has recently but updated and is nice. If you need a place to sleep while visiting Brookings and are on a budget this is a perfectly fine choice.
Immaculately clean, down to earth and centrally located. Bed and pillows inviting and comfortable. Shopping, food of all kinds and shops within walking distance. We had a small problem with the room (the shut off on the toilet was leaking, and they offered to move us or have it fixed while we were out. It wasn't a big thing and a towel caught it, so we just ignored it and it was going to be fixed when we checked out.) In the days of Covid-19, masks are required in the office and there are no brochures of local attractions or maps available, but staff is able to answer local questions regarding restaurants and must see local locations.
Nice people who run the motel. The room was clean & the bed great. At this time they have only one pet room which we reserved & that was good too especially for the price.
The exterior of the motel was adorable with flowers and plants everywhere. The staff was excellent. They were nice, personable, professional, and, helpful in every way. Then I stepped into the room! It was an extremely beautiful room that had been remodeled, was extremely clean and taken care of, the beds were extremely comfortable with different pillows that you could choose from to fit whatever you needed for your head and neck. I would definitely recommend this motel and next time I go back to Brookings I will definitely be at it! And to the staff, thank you so much, everything was perfect!
The rooms are very reasonable. The rooms are VERY CLEAN! Management is great as well as house keeping. I would stay there before any other place in town.
