Today I was racially profiled by a YT manager at self check out. I overheard her tell the associate to stand next to me while i check out and she watched me scan each item. Keep in mind self checkout was completely full. As a former Walmart manager i know for a fact i make double what she makes and i will make sure to never shop here. Glen carbon is way more nice and put together. FYI I’ve watched YT people steal from your self checkout . Maybe you should be smarter and you’ll catch actual criminals .

Before today I’ve always really enjoyed this Walmart, but after today 6-8-24 the guy Joe in the Auto department changed that for me. I scheduled a 7am appointment to get 4 tires placed on my vehicle. I was there at 6:45 waiting. Once the doors opened for business 5-6 ppl bum rushed in to be seen first. As Joe is asking them do they have appointments I hear him mention my name so I assumed he would call out and ask us patrons if we had appointments, but those individuals never had appointments yet he allowed them to be serviced without one. Now it’s 7:24 and I finally make it to the counter to be assisted and let Joe know that I had an appointment for 7am. After checking me in Joe explained we only have two techs and it will be a wait but we will get to your vehicle soon as we can. I asked why would I be waiting if I have the first appointment of the day. Joe replied “well it’s only two techs and they are doing oil changes at the moment”. I said those ppl in front of me who are not getting oil changes didn’t have appointments tho, but I did how are they seen before me. Joe repeated the same statement about the techs. My car wasn’t completed until 9:50am. I had told Joe “ Yo my mans I’m giving you 10 minutes and then I’m walking back there like I work here” to see what’s the status of my car because at that point it had became ridiculous. Joe called for the manager and stated there’s an irate customer at the counter. The manager came out and listened to me and apologized forJoes short comings. I told him I will not be antagonized by Joe. I told the manager I’m not irate I’m frustrated for setting an appointment and not being seen until the walk ins were already seen. 15-25 minutes later my car had been finished, but by that time it felt like 4pm lol. Yes punctuation sucks Oh well! My spelling is correct!!!! Thanks for those readers that can relate!!!!!!

Drove here from SC to get some Ricola cough drops... & to attend our son's wedding. His lovely wife's family is from this area and my wife started coughing from an itchy throat. Problem solved because Walmart has pretty much everything!

Ordered a pick up grocery order, tried calling pick up multiple times and then 10 pm and of course no one answered before or after. So my spouse called the Walmart customer care or whatever just to be told that she “can’t find a manager and that there is no manager on shift currently” and that we would have to come back tomorrow. I let her know that I highly doubt there isn’t a single manager there and that I’d be coming inside. Long story short a manager was found and they they went to the back and got the small $20-30 dollar order. Hence the three stars for the lady that did end up helping us. But still pretty upset about being ignored via phone calls lied to by another employee.
