First visit today to.Shiro's Saimin Haven, 98-020 Kamehameha Hwy #109, Aiea, HI 96701 Located in: Waimalu Shopping Center. Strip looks like a huge variety of food establishments, busy & unique -- except for what I'm told was empty former Zippy's on end.
It is one of our favorite strip malls because of all the ono food options. Perfect place for when we don't agree on a place to eat. It's also a great one-stop shop before going to the beach or a get-together. Home of the classic Shiros Saimin Haven as well as an Okazuya, Chop Suey, Puerto Rican, and Hawaiian food. There's also pho, Palama Supermarket, and other assorted specialty shops. Hopefully, another tasty option will occupy the old Zippy's located at the east end of the shopping center.
