Regal Dole Cannery

Nice to have so many choices for movie formats in 1 place. Convenient free parking garage with validation. Everything was clean, and buying tickets on the app or website before allows you to walk right in. The rewards program helps get a couple of dollars off snacks also.
Everything about this theatre is fine. The interior is a little dated. The screen and sound systems are fine. The concessions are typical. The 4DX is a fun experience but probably not how you should see a movie you really care about. I’ve seen about 20 movies here and only one had any kind of issue. The color calibration was off so everything had a blue tint. Parking is ample and validated up to 4 hours. Probably the best theatre on Oahu or at least in Honolulu. It would be below average for the Mainland.
Regal Dole Cannery is awesome! They have friendly staff, a beautiful interior, comfortable seats, and an arcade room! Definitely a great theater! Have a great day!😃🍿🎥🎬❤️
It’s been a super super long time since I’ve been to the theaters at Dole, so I wasn’t too sure what to expect. I ended up coming to this particular theater because The HAIKYU!!! Dumpster Battle was playing here on a Saturday (today) at 11:45 and that’s the only day all us friends could get together. Our group driver lives in Salt Lake so it was also convenient for us to meet at his place and then he can drive us all to Regal Dole. Since they validate parking, that was a big plus. The employees were pretty friendly, which was nice, but at the concession stand, the Pepsi/Coke Icee machine had BOTH red lights on so I ended with the Mountain Dew Icee. For anyone who knows me, not getting my Pepsi/Coke Icee gets anywhere an automatic two star ⭐️ rating drop. Plus, I was really sick for a whole week before and almost had to cancel today, I got better just in time so I was especially looking forward to a refreshing Pepsi/Coke Icee more than ever! We were seated in screen #14, seating area D 1-3, which I chose when I ordered the tickets online, were VERY uncomfortable!!! One member of our group is almost 6 feet tall so if my 5’2 butt was uncomfortable, his was worse. I saw him shifting as much as I was. After the movie we talked about it and he said it was very uncomfortable too. The movie was great, plus the fact that a trailer showing BLUE LOCK episode Nagi was hitting the theaters this Summer, made this disappointing experience better. 06/29/2024 Came Back to watch BLUE LOCK episode Nagi today. The Pepsi Icee was still not available 😑 the “Summer Snack Menu” I got the email for was not available, only the Caramel Glaze Pop popcorn. There was supposed to be: 1. Funnel Cake fries 2. Cinnamon Sugar doughnut holes 3. Spicy Mozzarella sticks 4. Garlic Parmesean fries 5. Chicken Bacon and Ranch Pizza, and 6. Caramel Glaze Pop popcorn (which I got) BTW. It was really good!! Yum. 😋 The rest of my family just had the permanent menu items which are the cheeseburger and fires and regular butter popcorn. I had a hotdog and Mountain Dew Icee along with my caramel glaze Pop popcorn. I forgot to mention, the lady that scanned my digital tickets on my phone and the young man at the concession stand, were very very nice employees so that was a huge plus. I enjoyed the movie in my very uncomfortable seats, but the bathrooms were clean though 👍
Basically the go-to Regal and movie theater location in the state. The only IMAX too. Parking is validated up to 3 hours I believe, might need to pay if you're doing a double feature or longer, or you could leave the parking complex and then come back in and get a new ticket. I can't imagine taking public transport here, the outer area is pretty seedy, especially at night there are vagrants literally wandering the street and in the road sometimes, watch out if you plan to drive here late. It almost feels dangerous coming out of a late film and going from the entrance to the elevators which are near the road on the outside of the building. There seems to be security inside the garage during the daytime but I really do not see them much or at all around the area at night so be vigilant and watch your surroundings coming here late. A/C could be colder, feels almost balmy inside depending on the day. Also, I don't believe there are any recliner seats in this theater. I think it's time they update their seats, especially considering this is the premier Regal location for Oahu. The outside area is kind of bizarre, due to the fact the ticket sales area is always just completely empty now (im assuming because of the effects of COVID and now that everything is online or can be done at an automated kiosk). There are tickets kiosks outside but I find they have a hard time scanning my phone's screen for my Regal pass, so I use the inside ones just past the entrance.
