Customer service was above and beyond expectations. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have rented U-Hauls at least a half a dozen times over the past 10 years. From now on I will only go to East Alton U-Haul. If only all U-Haul businesses operate like the one in East Alton. Highly recommend to everyone.

U Haul are very misleading. They Rent you a truck but tell you how to use it. I rented & because my friends that where to help had to work. So I kept truck until the next day. I called Uhaul to ask for a Bigger truck & the gentleman told me it would be 85$ So got ready to leave & truck was gone. The reason I got was I hadn't used it to move which is untrue. We moved a table & totes. Uhaul said it didn't looked used. We swept when done. So after other things that where not right such as taking 100 2x. Buyer b ware of Uhaul

I accidentally left my garage door opener in one of their pickups and CJ was very helpful in helping me get the garage door opener back as well as helping me with a billing error! Thank you! 10/10

I made a reservation online, by using the UHAUL web site. I was in and out in less that fifteen minutes. I would suggest using the website vs. calling or walking in. Have them email your receipts. This saves another few minutes waiting for the receipt . They are a good company to rent equipment from. The equipment is in decent shape and clean. They need a technology boost,, and this store would be in my top "five". The new store manager at this location is really busting his behind to make this store more attractive to potentially new customers. He has a good repour with repeat customers. When you have moving needs, make UHAUL MOVING AND STORAGE IN EAST ALTON, IL., your number one choice. You will not be disappointed. Participating Customer for over 30yrs.

Attempted to rent a trailer from this location, have rented plenty from U-Haul in the past. The rental was being done with my credit card, and upon arrival was asked for an alternate contact person and phone number. This has never been asked of me before and again this is not a cash transaction. This has been secured with a credit card so in my mind, there is no need to give anybody else’s information out. U-Haul you need to change your policy here.
