It’s always nice to be home! I have taken international and domestic flights from Tulsa International and have never had a bad experience flying out or coming back home. I have also had the privilege of “spotting airplanes” from the lots. This is always a lot of fun.
A beautiful, modern, spacious and clean airport. Very well laid out. A lot of conveniences inside, from restaurants to vending machines and suckets for charging devices. First impressions of this airport, while not one of the big ones, is it's pretty cool and well planned. I wouldn't mind if I i flew into and out ofthis airport on a frequent basis.
I would like to commend Francisco who works at the Hudson bookstore in terminal E. He was pleasant and extremely helpful. After my purchase was over I asked him where the tip jar was, he said they did not have one and that he was not allowed to take tips. I sure hope that this message gets to him to let him know how much he is appreciated and that his service was superb.
Tulsa International Airport has a welcoming feeling. It has some sculpture-like works of art as you walk through the corridors to locate your destination. Their visual guides are helpful. Easy to locate departures and easy to maneuver within terminals. The TIA is also clean. Parking garages and nearby hotels that may shuttle to and from the airport available. For the nearby airport hotels check their terms and condition la about the shuttle service. Nice and friendly staff.
The airport treated me kindly as I flew in to visit friends. Bathrooms were clean, employees very nice and didn't face any hiccups with TSA, so that was amazing. Sadly, lost the screw back of one of my earrings but for the most part, airport treated me good.
