The neighborhood and exterior do not feel very promising but I couldn't believe the thoughtfulness and quiet comfort of the room. Sugically clean and looks like it was updated yesterday. I didnt expect to have a full kitchen, outfitted with nice clean real dishes. The tv is huge and the ac is ice cold and silent. The staff on the phone and front desk were very friendly. Especially for the price, what a pleasant surprise!
I didn’t expect as all when I called to made the reservations. When we check-in the hotel room was a surprisingly huge for what we paid for. Really recommended. If you looking for the place to stay in Van horn . Don’t forget to check for available at Taylor hotel. We got the room closed to the road and it was quiet. I like the tiles in the bathroom. The hotel done a good job on that.
The Taylor Motel provided everything we were looking for and at a great price! We called the motel the morning of our stay and made our reservation directly. The exterior is refurbished historic. The rooms are recently updated and ours was very clean and comfortable. The Queen bed was just right and the linens were high quality, better than we expected. We will definitely stay at Taylor Motel anytime our travels take us through Van Horn.
It was late. With the solar eclipse 2 days away, we had no choice. I read reviews on the 1 hour drive from Fabens. The reviews were so glowing I thought they had to be fake. Then we got here. They were not fake. Amazing. I would actually go out if my way to stay here again.
Very clean, very friendly (Jose), and very quiet, despite being close to the trains, as are all hotels in Van Horn. Separate car port for each unit, which isolates neighbor's noises. New tile in bathroom.
