Up In Cottonwood for a girls winetasting getaway. We actually stayed at the tavern penthouse but that’s going to be another review. Today I am reviewing the Tavern Grill. We were there for cocktails which were absolutely yummy and lunch the following day. The food was just wonderful. Service was outstanding. We had a bunch of different requests, and each one of those requests were handled with a smile. The food was amazing, atmosphere terrific ,menu had a great variety of items. The Tavern is a wonderful establishment and management is terrific. We all want to say hello to those very special twins…. plus dear Alex. What an adorable young man.

My husband and I were visiting Cottonwood and decided to stop in for lunch around 3 PM. Wasn’t super busy service was a little delayed however, when she was there, she was pretty attentive. She did not check is after the food was delivered. We ordered the Santa Fe spring rolls for an appetizer. I highly recommend those, they were delicious. Then we had the prime rib dip with sweet potato fries and the corn beef Ruben with regular fries. I would choose sweet potato over regular all day long and the prime rib dip was yummy. The Ruben was packed with sauerkraut, corn, beef ratio, it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

We stopped in for lunch. It was pretty busy but we got a seat right away. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was really nice inside. I ordered sliders and the wife ordered the Asian chicken wrap. They were both delicious. The sliders were actually a little pink my taste but the flavors were awesome and they were pretty juicy. I would definitely order them again. The beer was nice and cold. We really enjoyed lunch at this place.

Place was packed on a Monday night. Got seats at the bar. Service was great. Food was above average and nice for “bar food”. Was expecting a bigger beer selection with more local choices. Wings were on the smaller side but really good. Pulled pork nachos better than expected.

I wanted to come to Tavern Grille specifically for the prime rib dip. And it did not disappoint me. The prime rib for this sandwich is absolutely delicious and still medium rare to medium, and I love the French fries here. Matt and Deja (sorry if I didn't spell it correctly) are wonderful. In fact, every team member we encountered was very pleasant. The Tavern Grille will always be my favorite place in Cottonwood.
