I booked a stay for 4 nights. Location is great, rooms are decent, the tub could be cleaner. I could hear the people who are staying upstairs all hours of the night, every step, thump and cartwheels or whatever they are going up there. It’s hard to rest when that’s all I hear. I also bought salads and placed in the mini fridge, but everything froze! There are no temp settings inside the fridge so those went to waste. You get what you pay for.

I stopped by this motel last night. Because me and my husband were exhausted from driving from Las Vegas headed to Oregon. Want to give a shout out to Jimmy and Lisa at the front desk. You guys were amazing. I've never stayed at this hotel before. And they were both very polite, very helpful, very sweet. I talked to Lisa for the longest time. She was the sweetest lady ever. The rooms and everything were very nice and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel if you're coming through Susanville, California. Please tell Lisa and Jimmy. I really appreciate everything. Thank you for being so nice.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Very nice staff and clean room. I took one star off due to the room having Ants. I will take a few ants any day over other creatures.

Very good rates and clean rooms. The rooms are also larger than I had expected. Breakfast is minimal at best. They don't clean or stock the rooms daily, so you have to ask for more items if needed. It's located across the street from Walmart and Safeway is really close by. The biggest con for me is how paper thin the walls are. If people are whispering next door or in other rooms, you can hear them. I stayed a few days in consecutive weeks and I would stay here again.

This hotel is just right for its price. It's not fancy but it's clean, the rooms are nice, clean and quiet. It's very close, within walking distance, to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. It seems to be in a safe place with easy parking. I've stayed here two times and wasn't disappointed either time.
