My family and I along with 3 other families all rented sites close to each other for our annual family camping trip, this past week. This was our first time coming here. Overall we had a great time down at the beach or out boating. They did karaoke two of the nights which was a blast to see all the little kids up there signing. All the staff was nice to talk with and helpful. If you're looking for a camping spot that's not surrounded by a lot of other campers then you might want to try another camp ground. But for us and our family, we have little kid's and they loved it and made all kinds of new friends to play with which was nice for us. I would recommend this location to anyone who loves camping and doesn't mind being around a lot of other campers.

I hadn’t stayed here in many years but was impressed at excited to have a cabin on the lake even though it was pretty pricey. I did like our cabins location on the lake having direct access but that was about it. I was appalled at the bathrooms! There are only 3 toilets for the entire campground! They have more showers than toilets. They have pit toilets scattered throughout the campground that are horrific, they smell terrible, have no lights and are filthy disgusting! They make grungy port a potties look nice! The whole resort is very rundown, dusty and not kept up. We did eat at the restaurant there and did have a nice dinner. But with the bathroom situation alone we won’t be back which is a shame because it has so much potential.

Amazing place. It's always a good vacation. It my second time here. Everything you need, you can buy in the store at the resort. They even have a karaoke place. We usually come in a large pack(10-16 people), so we are prepared mostly for the time. Area is clean with some grass. Bathrooms and showers are old(working pretty good), but who cares when you are on vacation riding on the boat every day.

This is our second time staying at this Resort though the first time we stayed it was in 2014 & we enjoyed our stay, So we didn't think twice about booking with this Resort when we saw they had the availability we needed for our group size. When we checked in first thing we saw was we could no longer fish in the Resort, if the boys wanted to fish we would either have to rent a boat or leave the Resort, So that was a bummer. Checking in was easy, Staff were nice, Provided us directions to our site, getting to our site was another situation, its supposed to be a one way, & vehicles & campers were going each way causing us to back up multiple times & nearly get hit by 4 wheelers speeding through the narrow road, when we finally found out spots they were taken, & there is literally no parking or room to maneuver once you get to that section of the campground, It took us over 30 mins to track someone down & help us get into our camping spots, & the people in our spots were very unhappy with us stating they had no where to park to their walk in camping spots.

**********AVOID*********TERRIBLE *********** Banks lake is amazing but this place will make your experience very bad. You will be packed in like sardines with very loud music and partying all night and morning. The staff all look like ex convicts and chain smoke . If you make a reservation and cancel you will not get a refund (even if you do it way in advance). You are guaranteed to get the run around. I own a business locally and will be sure share my experience. Word travels fast in them small towns!
