Everything we had...Was the best we've had! Bloody Mary.... STUPENDOUS. Homemade soup...To die for! Avalanche beef and Bacon Cheeseburger were both excellent. Great service, fair prices. Could use a bit of an interior update, but other then that...5 stars!
Stopped here on a ride through the Wisconsin Northwoods. The bar itself was pretty standard Wisconsin bar look and feel inside and out. The food was good and they do not skimp on the portions. We both liked the fries. The service was friendly but slow, but that is not a deal breaker for us. It was busy and there were only the bartender and one waitstaff there so we understood and they did let us know it would be a minute before they got to us. Set the approperate expectations. We would definitely go back.
Service was great. Food was awesome. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere has a hometown Northwoods feel. Loved that all the sandwiches are available as either a burger or chicken sandwich. I will definitely be back, and I recommend this place to anyone passing through and looking for something quick and easy.
