On May 5 I went to the speedway gas station on N DuPont HWY, the handicap pump was not working. I just went to closest pump and began pumping my gas. The pump never stopped running, the next thing I knew I was standing in a puddle of gasoline and water because it was also raining. I went inside to talk to the female inside. She informed me that she was the only person working and could not come outside to see what I was talking about and she was not able to do anything about the $60.09 charges. She made phone call and went in the back of the store and came out with a bag, went to the pump where I was parked and poured some stuff on the ground where the gasoline had spilled. She told me to come back tomorrow and speak with the manager. When I went back the next day to speak with the manager and explained what had happened, he stated to “it’s your responsibility to stop the pump and if we wanted to we could charge you for the gas clean up “. I just turned around and walked away. As a disabled veteran, I usually do things myself , and I want to thank Speedway for their POOR customer service, their rude and incompetent staff. I will file a complaint to the proper authorities and with their headquarters. I don’t expect anything to be different from them.They do not seems to care or realize that this situation could have gone wrong in so many ways.

I come in the evening and you have very friendly employees here. Very clean store and bathroom. Thes outside is also very clean. I would recommend my friend to this store.

Use this location many times for my fuel purchases, when I was there today I went in to purchase fuel with a credit card that I couldnt use at the pump. I did not have a mask on, the two employees told me that my face had to be covered, I informed them both in a polite way that I couldnt wear a face mask for medical reasons. I was then asked if this was documented and I explained yes. I was then talked to belligerently by the two workers and was being interrogated by them concerning my medical issues and conditions, which I once again in a polite manner stated what they were interrogating me about was discriminatory and in violation of HIPAA laws, they spoke even more harshly to me and told me to get out of their store. They were both very rude and ignorant of the law. I wouldnt recommend this gas station to anybody. In fact , I will be calling the corporate office in the morning and see how they feel about the civil liability that their employees have just gotten them in too.

These gas pumps are slower than molasses. I’ve been filling my car now for 10 minutes and just got to half tank. Why is it called speedway of this process takes so long?
