This was our first time in Fort Morgan and at the Sassy Bass Island Grill. The service was perfect! Our waitress, Riley, was 10/10! So much so- we came back on night 2 of our vacation just to sit with her! The kids portions are definitely big enough for an adult. DO NOT SKIP the grouper reuben! It's a must! We sat on the patio and our kids ran around in the grass until our food was ready. We have a child with seafood/fish allergies and they made sure he could eat as well! All of my fellow allergy families know this is hard to find especially at the beach. Overall, we had a great experience and look forward to coming back again!

Reason for 3 stars is my daughter got seriously ill from eating the salad. We tried a grouper Reuben which was decent. Tenders were fresh and crunchy. Drinks were mid. Not very wheelchair friendly unless you ate outside-inside has very limited space. Did not ask for a large print menu.

A respite of a place on the peninsula end of Gulf Shores, Alabama/Morgatown. We went here on our first night in as we waited for our groceries to arrive for a weeks stay in Morgantown. It's a casual place with a casual look but the people are friendly and they got us situated in a table for 9 of us pretty quick. My mom got crab cakes and she said they were delicious! Our bill was pretty large for a table of 9 but that's what you get with a group and eating seafood I guess and b/c it's more remote they can charge more b/c I'm sure it's tougher to get food out that way and workers etc. Only marked the atmosphere down b/c it's nothing fancy but a great local spot providing yummy food for weary travelers or beach explorers!

Food was fantastic. Its in a resort. Just told the gate attendant , we were going to Sassy Bass and he gave us a parking pass. Food was very good, would go again!

Ordered over the phone tonight. We were not aware that the usual practice was to order to go online instead of over the phone. After taking our order, the employee who answered rudely informed of this. We shrugged it off. When I got back to the condo my wife found the to go box holding her burger had only bread inside. She lifted it and saw the patty with cheese was outside of her box and in the bottom of the paper bag. Like it was just thrown. There were no signs of it ever being inside of the box to begin with. No cheese, no grease residue, seemed very intentional. Would not recommend.
