Unfortunately we had a devastating fire in our wood burner & were unable to stay in our home with no heat during the frigid temperatures. This was obviously an unexpected & unfortunate event but the Radisson employees were eager to assist us in every aspect. They made us feel at home during this difficult time.The room was spotless, the service was super (the best I’ve ever encountered) and our meals were worth every penny. Best. Hospitality. Ever!! Staff is friendly. Great location. Rooms have been updated & are very nice, bed is comfortable. In-room coffee not great. Appreciate that they offer the little cups of liquid creamer (which could be kept in the in-room fridge to prevent curdling) but there's never enough if it & sugar too. I'd like to see them improve that. Hallways noisy, someone nearby kept slamming door, maybe adding some type of soft close feature to the doors would help, or a more sound proof door? I never hear airport noise, which is great, since it's right across the road.
Staff was excellent in every aspect. Extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, very comfortable beds. They seemed pretty clean except the floor. It was very dirty. I found trash from previous visitors under the bed when I was picking up something I dropped, and threw away a pair of socks I had on because there was no hope in getting them white again. The hotel was connected to a casino, which was nice.. (but expensive to me 😄).
We stayed there on Sept 9th. Remodeled rooms. Rooms were clean and very nice. Bathroom and shower were clean. Only a couple of takeaways. I call it room with a view. Rooms and I mean a lot of them overlook the roof of the casino with all the mechanics a/c vents. Also you get a excellent view of the parking garage. On the website you can look at 84 great photos. But not one looking out the window at all roof and parking garage. I stayed there because it is attached to the casino Didn't use the pool or restaurants. Several years ago we stayed there and at the time the had sleep number beds. The bed was so uncomfortable I sleep on the floor. They did a nice remodel and got better mattress.l I will most likely be stay there again in the future because it is attached to the casino.
This was probably one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever experienced. We arrived to the hotel and find out the hotel checked someone into the hotel under my reservation, under my name and the room I was supposed to have. They called security to check the room to see if it was an error. It wasn’t an error, in fact someone was in that room. The clerk then got us into a room and we head there thinking great, now we can get a good night rest. We thought too soon. The floors were filthy and crumbs and hair were everywhere. We head back to the front desk and they find us another room down the hall. The other clerk, goes to the room to check the room and under the hotel lights at night, the floor looks clean. We go in and get some sleep. We are woken up to the sound of someone talking loudly in front of our door at 730am. We open up the door around 8 or 815 and it is the housekeeper having a conversation with a friend on her phone. We politely ask her to go somewhere else other than in front of a door. This explains why the rooms aren’t clean. We then wake up and get ready. As I am looking closely at the room under daylight conditions, then I see hair, crumbs and dried liquid on the floor. It was pretty disgusting. The toilet even had hair on the bottom part. They claim it is a 3 star hotel but we aren’t sure where that came from. The cleanliness is not there. They also state that they sanitized the rooms and are trained to have high cleaning standards. I didn’t see that. I took pictures of my observations of the second room.
