Port of Long Beach
What people are saying
I really enjoyed Long Beach it was my favorite place in the LA area so far. Will definitely come back here because I still need to do that trip to Catalina that was canceled due to the weather, which was really the centerpiece of this trip. But the harbor is beautiful with lots to see, nice and wide walking paths, loops around, gives you a view of the harbor, the ocean, the Queen Mary, the city skyline.
Very clean and neat ..workers are very friendly 24×7 shuttle service is available
Excellent military operation and then on the other side, you have the queen Mary for breakfast and leaving for Ensenada cruises
This newly renovated port is very nice. The Spruce Goose is no longer here but they have some literature on it and a smaller version hanging from the ceiling. It is very spacious and they have brought the outside in. I have been here twice and it is always very clean inside and outside. Parking is easy. If you drop off your luggage at the drop off then there isn’t a way back into the parking structure, you must go quite a bit out of the way to get back to the parking garage. It is quicker to park then take your luggage down the elevator and the porters are there to take your luggage. It is a very easy process. Our last trip was during Covid. We were unvaccinated and the testing took about an hour total to get on the ship. There was an area for testing that was smooth.
Visited the USS IOWA and spent the night on board. Easy access and parking. Very Clean.
