Long Beach Airport

Long Beach is my new favorite airport. Yes, it's small but it's quick to get in and out. Very efficient. Most of the airport is brand new and they are restoring the original historic terminal. I love that you get to go outside to board your plane, old school style. When the weather is nice, there is something about getting to board outside that gets lost using a jet bridge. The ability to hang out and have a meal outside by the fireplace is outstanding. Love Long Beach Airport!

A great airport that is fast and easy to get in, drop off, pick up, and get out. The new ticketing building is very nice. Everything is so much less stressful here than larger airports like LAX. There is more than one free cell phone waiting lot. Use these free parking lots when you are waiting because there is almost no room at the curb in front of the terminals. You've got to drop off or pick up quickly.

I love this airport because there is hardly any wait, and it’s so close to OC. The cell phone parking lot has a ton of space, and the laid parking lot also has lots of space, I like LAX.

This is my first time coming into this airport. It's very small and quiet. I love the idea of coming out the plan and you get to walk the tarmack. Staff is really nice and best to come 2 hours before your flight. Since it's a small airport. There are some early morning lines. Very clean and peaceful place.

This was a vastly superior experience than LAX. I have yet to see Burbank or Ontario, but LGB and John Wayne are the preferred airports to use when visiting SoCal in my experience. LGB was quick and its in a good location to get to Catalina, San Pedro, the South Bay, and even to the Harbor Freeway up to LA. Will probably make flying in and out of here a priority from now on.
