This was my 4th time eating at this establishment. The other times the food was ok nothing amazing but but I live so close so I didn't mind going back. I don't know what was wrong with this day, but the food was disgusting. I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTMENT bc I love the service here (friendly people) and until this point, I didn't hate the food and prices. I ordered the meatloaf, mash potatoes, Mac & cheese, and pull pork sundae. They gave me scrapes of meatloaf drenched in gravy. The Mac & cheese was just noodles. Literally the worst m&c I had in my life. Please get someone to revamp the Mac & cheese because what I had was a disgrace. I've ordered the pull pork sundae before and really enjoyed it but this time there was wayyyy too much grease in it (I had to drain my cup of the grease!) and zero Barbeque sauce in it...man I wish I would have taken a picture of the grease filled sundae as well🤦🏾♀️... The only item that was good was the mash potatoes but who can mess that up...They are open early, the prices are reasonable and I don't live far but Idk if I'll be back again because this experience really turned me off. Winter Haven have many local restaurants so I'll go somewhere else. -My first time ever making a review about a restaurant so I'm serious.
New name and new owner... Great food, service and prices. Will certainly be going back!
Great little diner. Good burger and onion rings. Love the tag line on the sign...don't think I've seen that one before. The definition of Mom and Pop...I guess just Pop in this case.
Great Food, Great service!
Under new owners and they have done up the place very nicely. Seems to have a husband/wife team cooking and serving going on and it seems to be working out very well. My husband and I went for a late breakfast the other day and we both enjoyed our meals. The only downside is I believe they hired someone to help out and that person made a few mistakes but everyone needs a break every now and then. And we can see that it doesn't really effect the reality that the husband and wife have some a really great job with the place. And above all the food was delicious!!!! We would definitely ""recommend"'
