Claustrophobics should take a pass... Pros: Convenient to the airport as much as any major airport's parking lot, give or take. Staff on the way out are exceptional! Cons: The rest, really. Parking spots are narrow and so are the lanes. It's dark in there. Signage leading to the EXIT is dark in color, way up in the ceiling structure overhead, and honestly pretty tough to see. It's divided up in a strange way, and the additional complexity for the two accesses to the tunnel? Just WAY more complex than it needs to be, and for no good apparent reason. Verdict: Hey, you gotta park right? If you have any other option, then don't park here.
3rd floor has at least two colors of floor color coding, blue and orange. If you park near a 3B blue sign, go to the terminal, and when returning to your car, take a left instead of right turn out of the elevator, you could be in the orange signs section of the same floor. There is no obvious notice on the floor or elevator area of this possible confusion of not finding your car.
We made reservations online which was very easy. Arriving and parking was easy. Shuttle was prompt and even loaded & unloaded our bags for us. From the airport we had to wait a little while (I’d say maybe 10 minutes) for the shuttle to arrive. Overall experience was great. Our car was in the exact same shape as when we left it. No concerns on theft or vandalism. Would use this parking lot again.
My wife and I arrived at PDX late on a Friday night, tired and hungry from travelling, and anxious to get home. Upon arriving to our car, we were not pleased to find a dead battery. We have AAA, but we wondered if the airport offered auto services, as I imagined that dead car batteries were not uncommon to travelers who had parked for a longer length of time. My wife got on the phone, and within a couple of minutes had connected with the services of Standard Parking, who handle those exact issues. When my wife inquired for a wait time, the man on the phone said, "It could be 15 minutes, sometimes it takes little while," we were slightly discouraged, and began considering other options. Not 3 minutes later however, a smiling man in a white truck came by, and pulled right up to our car. Adolfo was his name, and he had our car jump started in 2 minutes. Friendly, knowledgeable, and fast - wow! Our night could have been considerably worse, but Adolfo and Standard Parking made sure that we got home quickly and safely. Thanks again!
Affordable and convenient. Shuttles to terminal work great, you won't have to wait for too long. I'd only wish they had more spots in the shade during the summer
