Palace Theater
What people are saying
Went to see Tumua in the palace. Very historic building for sure. It was definitely hot though for sure and the seats are dated...very little leg room for taller people.
Great old theater Acoustics are not so good but the ambience is great I'm glad it has been restored and maintained it is a Hilo landmark
Wonderful shows, and the theater is a lovely old, well-kept venue. However, the audience roasts. How the performers made it through several great shows is likely because they had room to move around on stage. Solar panels and air-conditioning or at least Costco-sized fans would greatly help the packed house enjoy great entertainment.
Such a nostalgic, historic and pleasant place. Concessions are cheaper than theaters. Great atmosphere, but we went when it was packed, so it was very hot, and it was night time.
Hilo Palace Theater was so nice to watch "Waterman" in. The theater is has online and in person ticket sales with open seating. We just got to the theater a little early to pick out our seats. There is also a cafe for food and drinks if anyone would like refreshments before or during the film. Check this place out if you have a chance.
