There are two benches. It is a good spot to watch the Purple Martins in the summer. You can hear the violinist in old town when the wind is calm.
Cute little park on the river in downtown Florence; not a lot of room for boisterous munchkins (so leave them in the city...). Great views of the river as it rises and falls with the tides, excellent bridge views and, most interesting of all, the purple martin colony is a blast to watch (sadly they were cheekily avoiding my attempts at filming...) Great place to sit with a cuppa or catch sunset before heading up/down the street for dinner.
Cute little park with lots of photo opportunities. Views of the Siuslaw River, views of the bridge, birds, quaint gazebo and beautiful plants and flowers all around. Nice place to sit a rest while shopping on Bay Street
A surprisingly nice place to visit while waiting for shops to open. Lots of different types of birds to be seen, as well as a nice gazebo and picnic area and benches. Interesting plants, barnacle-encrusted rocks, historical ferry landing below, and an observation deck.
A neat little spot to bird watch and enjoy the view
