Great place for a Starbucks coffee certain items you won't find in the store like aged vinegar sushi rolls marinated seasoned Meats aged cheese fresh baked goods definitely a good place to pick up items you can't find in the grocery store. Clean friendly environment definitely worth checking out.
I’m so bummed. Their BLT on ciabatta used to be the best BLT on the island. I just ordered two (for $30!). Mine only had 2 1/2 strips of bacon. It’s tough to call it a BLT if you get several bites with no B!
I really like their lox sandwich when they get it right but they never get it right anymore. I always ask for no tomatoes, and get tomatoes at least 50% of the time. Last week they forgot the salmon all together, and we’re back to tomatoes this week despite being overwhelmingly clear every time that I don’t want tomatoes. Between that and the fact that I have to explain what a red eye is to a new barista every other week, they could be doing much better.
WBA’s a breakfast sandwich on the beer bagel. It was huge and didn’t think I could eat it all. Ohhh I did!! Absolutely delicious. Now I’m home in IN and can’t stop thinking about it.
Update: returned to Meat & Fish for another try -- service problems seem fully addressed. Anyone or any place can have an off day. Pivoting back to my prior 5.0 rating. Food quality is generally very good to great, although quite pricey -- but service has meaningfully declined at the meat/fish counter (which is the star attraction). There is no system for sorting who to serve next, leading to arguments among customers, as well as with the staff. Too much stress for summertime. I about-faced and headed to Glidden's.
