I put in $20 of gas on grade 86. The little screen above the hose didn't show the price per gallon like it usually does. No receipt from the pump. The top screen showed 20 for 5.051 gallons. They charged me $3.95 per gallon!!! So I went to the cashier with my math. She pulls up a receipt showing I bought 91 grade. I did NOT!! So they ripped me off for $3.75. I'll NEVER go back to that station again. Besides having to dodge crackheads, the gas station owners rip you off!!

DO NOT GO HERE! THEY ARE NEVER OPEN AND THERE ARE TONS OF HOMELESS ADDICTS, VAGRANTS AND CRIMINALS! I LITERALLY DROVE HERE AND IT WAS 6PM ON A TUESDAY EVENING AND THE GATES WERE PULLED DOWN/CLOSED/NO ONE WAS WORKING!.....ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS LOCATION, UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET ROBBED (LITTERLY, BY THE HOMELESS ADDICTS THAT OCCUPY THE PROPERTY). IF I COULD GIVE THIS LOCATION NEGATIVE 10000 STARS, I WOULD! THE PAST THREE TIMES IVE TRIES GOING HERE, ITS THE SAME CRAP! WHY HAVE BUSINESS HOURS AND NOT ABIDE BY THEN?!? The customer service at this location is non existent. They always close before they should. They never have enough staff. And when they are "open" they aren't because of being on a break. Hate this gas station. Edit to add: it is 6:30pm on a Saturday night and THEY ARE CLOSED!!! WHY HAVE OPERATING HOURS IF YOU DON'T EVER ABIDE BY THEM! MURPHY'S USED TO BE MY FAVORITE GAS STATION NOW I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN!

1. I gave her $100 to purchase fuel at the discounted cash price of $3.15. 2. I pumped $42.00 worth of fuel. 3. I go back to the cashier, with $2.00 in my hand to give her, so I can get $60.00 back. 4. She is already prepared to give me $58.00 back. 5. I’m holding the $2.00 in front of her... she has a sour look and gives me a negative tone. She says to me “Why are you trying to give me $2.00?” 6. I tell her if I give her the $2.00, she can give me $60.00 in return. 7. With a negative and confused look, she just stands there silent. A co-worker says something in the background that I can’t understand. 8. She then begins to make the moves to get me my $60.00, and her body language displays protest in the process. 9. She hands me my $60.00 as if I ruined her day. 10. Yes, this is why you work the booth at Murphys Fuel, and you don’t even have the brain cells to compute what just happened. 11. Another satisfied customer at Murphys.

This place has the lowest gas prices I have seen anywhere in Northern New Mexico.

Great, no excellent place to purchase cigarettes. I smoke Camel's and they are almost a dollar cheaper then other places (you must be on their rewards program and enter your phone number at the time of purchase.) As for gas, it seems to usually run about the same as cheaper gas stations or at times a cent or 2 cheaper. I've had EXCELLENT customer service at all the Murphy's I've been to and despite the fact that they are usually near Walmarts, they say they are NOT affiliated in any way. Which I'm sure is why they are deserving of this raving review. Heehee
