Mopho - MSY airport location
What people are saying
Nice quick bite. The food was amazing and the service was quick. The po-mi was spicy and delicious. The pho had a very good broth with tasty flavors. Would definitely recommend it. Hits the spot perfectly.
I got “The Sober Me Up”. Description for it is “Beef broth with Braised Shank, Bacon, mushrooms, and a slow poached egg”. The soup is good, but you get a tiny piece of shank and 3 bacon bits, and they’re charging $18.50.
This doesn’t even resemble pho. The only similarity is the rice noodles. Beef pho was said to have meatballs, mushroom, and thinly sliced eye of round. It didn’t have any of those, but it did have a slow cooked pot roast in there for some reason. No Thai basil, sprouts, jalapeño, but it did have fried onion croutons, which was weird. Not pho. Not good. 1 star for their ability to describe themselves and serve the ingredients listed.
Let’s just say was sad I didn’t know there was a Chick-fil-a in the terminal after seeing someone walk by with the bag. I would’ve rather gone fast food. The crispy chicken Pho-poboy was over saturated with sauce that was not good. The chicken was cold and soggy bread. The tables are tacky. The place needs a good cleaning.
The fried shrimp Po-mi was worth it for an airport. Shrimp was a heavier breading than I prefer. But, tasted good on the sandwich with the sauce. We got our fried chicken wings with sauce on the side since it was a sweet sauce. The wings were very good. The are pricey $16.50 for six wings. That's almost three bucks a wing!
