Great food and service! Sean provided great service and knowledge of the menu. Red beans and rice, catfish, and Bayou trio were very flavorful. The gator bites and crawfish boil were a bit over cooked, still gave 5 stars for flavor. The raw oysters need a bit more cleaning, appears very dark green/ black not a great appearance but tasted good. No gluten-free batter options, would be great to have a cornmeal batter. We sat upstairs it was a bit warm needed better airflow, next time we will sit downstairs.

We came here twice during our trip. The first time we had grilled oysters, my God did that change our love of oysters. Must have if you have never had them. I got the swamp platter as well and all the parts were great. Second time we got the crayfish boil, so good. Also got the barbecue shrimp, which is messy but boy do you want to dip your bread in the sauce. My wife got extra bread and cleaned the plate. I recommend this place if you want to try all the greats.

First time in New Orleans with the family. Wanted to try some local favorites, and this place did not disappoint! It was excellent. We did some appetizers to sample some stuff and ordered again. Great atmosphere, the aroma of good food filled the air, and the service was very good. Our kids loved it. Praline white chocolate bread pudding was so good. Highly recommend trying this place out.

Delicious! There was a wide variety of choices. As someone who doesn’t eat meat but DOES eat seafood, there were many choices. I ended up getting the crab cake which was huge and delicious and very rich. We also had fried green tomatoes which were excellent and the fried pickles (my husband and I agreed they were the best we’ve had, and we’ve eaten a lot of them being from Texas). My husband ordered jambalaya, but I think maybe he was served red beans and rice with sausage? Lol, we didn’t realize it until the next morning. We were so tired and hungry! They served local beer on tap (Abita IPA-great grapefruit notes). Our server was excellent and friendly. Best place we could’ve chosen for a quick night in NOLA. Right in the heart of the french quarter-great spot!

I had Lunch here on a Friday afternoon asked the Host if the place was good she said depends on “what you wanna eat”. I wasn’t really expecting that kind of response. My waiter was nice gave good service he was very upfront about certain foods kind of told me what not to get. I wish the place had the tvs on and music playing, it was very dead silent upstairs. Also ordered a glass of wine had to get a replacement glass because of the lip print on it. Bathrooms were okay & bright. I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 because the vegetarian burger was good & customer service
