Mobile Tune
What people are saying
After buying a used vehicle from Washington it broke down in oregon on the way back to california. Mobile tune was the nearest mechanic that would take a look the following day. At first they thought it was a radiator issue totaling $900 roughly then the following day they found blown head gaskets and quoted me $7500 for a long block that included engine replacement changed radiator hoses and fittings, new water pump, new thermostat, radiator replacement, serpentine belt, and new fluids. In the end the total bill came just under $7800. After being stranded in oregon for almost a month, i went home and came back about two weeks later to pay for the repairs. Not barely 3 weeks later my water pump is failing, there was air left in the cooling system and my thermostat damaged. I was told to go to a napa auto parts center to have it looked at. Mobile tune has undergone new management/ownership. Before i took it somewhere for a diagnosis i was told to add water to the coolant reservoir and flush it out with a hose. I didnt feel comfortable doing any of that so i took it in and my diagnosis came to a reccomended $1900 repair that included new thermostat and water pump. i had to argue Ken, the old owner down for information on that warranty along with information regarding how many miles and the VIN. Fortunately the rest of the staff was friendly and reasonable, except Ken, he had very questionable behavior. So happy that this place went under new ownership and management. After speaking with Steve, he told me he would take care of the new replacement parts, what a relief! Dave, Sean and Steve are great 10/10
I was looking to rent a van for an upcoming school field trip in 2 months and remember seeing the folks out on the street corner flipping the car rental sign advertising for Mobile Tune so thought I'd give them a call. Immediately informed there were no cars available and they don't know when they will be back (??). Odd. No worries though, I'm not looking for a rental for 2 more months, I assure them. Well turns out they don't reserve or really have any grasp on their inventory and have no real interest in helping secure any kind of rental. Unless you are looking to rent a vehicle on a hope and prayer, last minute, I'd go to Enterprise or Turo. I'm not sure why they occasionally employ a gentleman to spin the sign advertising their rental car services when it seems kind of a sham. Rude person on the phone too...typical Roseburg 'customer service'.
Mobile Tune is the best the people here are so friendly and helpful! Had my car towed here after blowing a tire on I-5. Tyler informed me they don't really do tires but was super awesome and pumped my tire up so I could at least make it to the tire place!
Took my car in because the drive axel busted. They told me it would be a max of two days. It took over a week for my car to be ready and I had to constantly check in with them. I asked them if they could also check out why my windows suddenly stopped working. Charged me $50 to check the fuses and determine that all the fuses were fine. I ended up selling my car and the new owner changed the fuse and got the windows working.
Friendly staff really helped out our family. Our RV broke down and they had us up and out by end of day. Fair prices, professional and knowledgeable technicians. Thank you to everyone there!
