Mean Queen was a great place to pop into to grab a drink before exploring more of Sitka. The house made orange juice was great for the mimosa! Service was a little on the slow side but only because they were busy and had few waiters.

Pizza in Sitka? Why not? It’s located upstairs in the building and has great views. We ordered the princess pizza, regular crust. It had pesto, mozzarella, feta, chicken, artichokes, olives and fresh basil. It was amazingly delicious! It took some time for our pizza to come out but granted, we were there at a very busy time of day and year. We all enjoyed the beautiful view from our table as we sipped on a glass of wine while we waited for our food. I had heard their salads are amazing too! Next time I’ll try one :) A must try in Sitka!!!

It is one of the only places that opens late in town. I got in at 10:30pm flight and went straight here. It was busy, we ordered the food maybe less than 30 minutes we received our order. Even though it was busy, the food came out quick. The Fortress of Pigs pizza was my favorite. The crunch of the bacon was delicious.

This place is so fun with a great atmosphere, amazing drinks and tasty food! The staff is always super kind and fun to talk to. Thanks Seth and Dave! I have tried almost every pizza and my favorite is the, Queen Bee! My second favorite is the, His Royal Highness. I could not resist to try the deep dish one night. That too was tasty but for the price, get a normal pizza… There are great views out of the windows and clean bathrooms. If you’re feeling frisky, ring the bell to buy everyone drinks. Don’t chicken out. Have fun.
