McLean Park
What people are saying
Super cool little park!!! They have a pond for starts, with two fountains in the middle of it, a pathway to walk all the way around it, a gazebo that goes out into the water, and TWO full playgrounds for the kiddos!!! One older plastic more basic playground for the little ones, and one newer more modern obstacle course like playground for the bigger kids! I’ve never seen anything like it! Our son loved it there! He enjoyed riding his scooter all around the park the day we visited. Great place to take your family for a sunny day picnic! 😁😁👍👍
McLean Park is kinda small and parking is limited but it’s still in a beautiful area! They also have a lake in the park and a couple of playgrounds. Not my favorite park in North Myrtle Beach but it’s a nice place to visit.
Nice park, always bring my kids here when we come down on vacation.
While on vacation my daughters and I were looking for a place to play tennis. Our first stop was North Myrtle Beach High school courts however a young family, with their baby, were walking out and advised the High school coach was there and said the courts are not open to the public. Let down but not ready to quiet, we quickly started to search for nearby courts and found our way to this little park. As we made our way to the courts, we were bummed to see that they already had other people playing on them. To our surprise the young couple and baby were on the one court, recognized us and invited use to join them. We played together for about an hour, sharing and trading general life stories of times in the service, placed we’ve lived, and how we ended up the same little park in North Myrtle Beach. What a great hour of vacation, time with my daughters, and refreshing boost that overall our world is filled with good hearted people. I give this park a star, because the scale is backwards. This one star of a park stands out among all the places we could have gone.
Great neighborhood park with 2 playgrounds, an older playground for younger kids and a newer playground with jungle gyms for older kids. Nice gazebo on a pond with turtles and fish. Nice shaded shelter for picnics and barbecuing. The restrooms were dirty and had no soap but it is nice that they have them. Dogs in the park on leashes were around.
