We order online for pickup 10 minutes ahead of time. Got to the drive-thru, and they repeated our order. Went to the pick-up window, and they gave us the receipt along with our drinks. They told us to drive around to the waiting area. We waited for a good 20 minutes, cars behind us got their orders, and the drive-thru got longer and longer. We finally asked them when they handed food to the car behind us. They told us they "LOST" our order. We have the receipt. They had to remake our order from the receipt. Waited another 10 minutes for our order. After 30 minutes of waiting, we finally got our food. Fries were soggy, and the burgers were dry tasteless. They, however, offered us free meals for their mistake. We were from out of town and not staying close by, so we had to make an extra trip for the meals. I personally would not recommend this place.
We ordered online and went through the drive through and were pointed around the building to wait for our food. Car and car passed and finally they came out and said they forgot or lost our order. After about 40 minutes of waiting and them putting the order again we finally got our food. The worker wrote my name down for a couple free meals to make up for it, but without a card or something I’m unsure if they’ll honor it. I’ll follow up to see if that’s honored and up the service to 4 or more stars since they were helpful about the situation.
Terrible experience and terrible customer service! My family and I always stop here on our way home from vacation. We won’t be doing that anymore. We waited 30 minutes for our food and didn’t even get our complete order! I was told they were waiting on our apple pies…whatever!! Employees were coming out, ordering food and were getting their order before I was. No one was helping me at all! And it was filthy inside. I actually left the restaurant very upset on the verge of tears. I’ve never had such a terrible experience before. We will not be back. What a complete waste of money!!
Today I walked in, then right out again. Approached the counter and was greeted by what may have been one of the filthiest human beings I have every seen. I felt sorry for him but also sickened at the same time. Is cleanliness no longer a priority in the food service business??? Listen up McDonalds - while it's admirable that you hire the disadvantaged, the least you could do, as a mega-corp, is provide them with clean clothing and a trip to the barber?? I did make up an excuse to leave, as it was not my intention to hurt his feelings. REALLY, your doing a disservice to that poor man & your customers. Do better!
Worst mcdonalds in the country. Bad enough your price hikes are far more then any other fast food. But the quality of service is terrible. Food order wrong. Some even not edible. Mangers hang up when you call before you can even say hello. Lacking half the required ingredients on every sandwich. And it happens every single visit. Every single one. For a 15 dollar two sandwich order. We should be able to atleast eat our food. Not even asking to enjoy it, just to make it edible. But that's apparently too much to ask for the minocqua location. Last time I ever give money to the Golden arches anywhere. Sad to say but even burger King has better tasting food. At least it's affordable and most importantly edible .
