Long story short they took 7 months to get the trays for our autoclave to us and they made many false promises. Mayfield Medical has the worst customer service and communication. We bought a used autoclave from them back in December, and it was not delivered for over a month. When the autoclave was dropped off that was all that was done. We plugged in the autoclave the next morning with an error message and had to call for maintenance on it, at this time we also notified them that two of the internal large trays were missing and they promised to order them and have them delivered when they returned it after the maintenance a few days later. They delivered it with no trays again and we were told they were still being shipped. A month or so goes by and we call again to have the trays delivered and are told "let me look into it and call you back". They NEVER call back and sometimes have an attitude. A few months went by again and we had to put in another maintenance request on the device. The worker that came out also notified them that we still have not received the trays and he recommended that we call every day until we get them. The company then tried to send us a bill for the maintenance request and I had to call them to have it removed as we are still under warranty. We called 2-4 times a week over the past 2.5 months and were promised multiple times that they would be delivered "today" without a word from them on why it wasn't being delivered and we were told multiple times that they "placed the order" but they would not provide any tracking information. Last week they promised to have the trays delivered on Friday, again no word, I spoke with the company Monday morning when I spoke with the owner Tim and he told me that he would drive to the local warehouses to get a tray and bring it by before the end of the day, he then called back that evening stating he drove to 3/4 warehouses and none of them had the trays but that he is driving to the 4th one now. Tuesday at 1PM Tim called stating that he had the trays in hand and was on his way over, I called back at 4PM as he was still not here and the front desk girl stated that she was going to try to call and get ahold of him and call me back (again no call back). Wednesday morning he finally delivered the trays.
Company ordered a replacement light for a piece of our equipment. received the light and it was the wrong replacement light, that they looked up and sent to us. When they were notified of this the girl said she would have to get with her supervisor and offered to send another replacement or we could order from an aftermarket company. When I looked the part number up, they sent for new replacement it was still the wrong one. PLUS, they want to charge a restocking fee of 35% for the incorrect one to be sent back that they looked up and sent. I am Ordering the correct one from AMAZON less than half of what they want to charge, and they want almost as much as the light costs in shipping.
A salesman stopped in randomly in our clinic telling us they could repair all of our equipment. He said someone would come in and evaluate and give us a cost to repair or tune up. Once someone came in, literally every single item the salesman told us they worked on, the repair guy said he couldn't repair. One piece they "specialize" in that the guy couldn't fix, was repaired by the carpenter doing one of our office build out in 5 minutes by soldering 2 wires. Shocking that someone with zero experience could fix this when "professionals" couldn't. They literally couldn't fix a single thing that the salesman said they worked on. Then they keep sending a bill of $500 or some silly amount for looking at the equipment and telling me they don't work on the item or can't fix it. It would have been different had I called them, but to stop in uninvited to our office without me even knowing this company, tell us they work on all of our stuff, waste everyone's time, come in and tell us they don't actually fix any of the stuff they were there to look at, then send a bill. Bills are for service, not a joy ride.
Contact Mayfield Medical on 12/27/2019 to repair blanket warmer. 12/31/2019 Technician on site and diagnosis the problem and said needed new fan. Part was to be ordered on 12/31/2019. Called on 1/20/2020, person answering the phone said part not ordered due to email system down and did not receive approval to order part. Refaxed quote with approval on and as of 2/3/2020 part still not ordered. Salesperson stop by center to see how everything went and to tell me the part has been ordered. Called today, 2/12/2020, Diane tell me they are trying to find the tracking number to see where the item shipped. This is business is poorly ran, and do not suggest anyone doing business with them.
Had to interact with a bearded man with glasses today here who complained about having to work today. He seemed rude, like he lacked work ethic and like he didn’t care about his job.
