Marissa was the only one that treated us nice. She took such good care of us we never wanted for anything while we were at the bar. She's so friendly and fun to talk to, it made the start of our vacation so Special! We come here every year to stay before we head for the airport. The front desk person was very robotic, she never even made eye contact with us. She was very unwelcoming. The Food is delicious. The Smash Burgers are phenomenal along with the Delicious French fries.
Upon arrival, it took the front desk approximately 25-30 minutes to register us. Come to find out, our reservation was scheduled by the hotel for the wrong days. So much confusion and personnel with limited knowledge of the proper fix. The manager seemed to hide, as he didn’t have a clue what to do. We attended a plated dinner in the tent outside the hotel the night of arrival. The service was mediocre, but sufficient enough to get through the evening. However, our table requested additional bread and we were told that we already received bread. Half of our table had gravy/sauce on their entrees, half of us didn’t. Oh, did I mention the dessert was already on our table upon our arrival , exposed to anything/anyone. The staff are rude - front desk, Starbucks, housekeeping. We were part of a convention, so I would assume the hotel scheduled personnel accordingly to accommodate the increased number of guests. Nope, not the case. Room service would never answer the phone when we attempted to place an order. Housekeeping never collected our dirty towels or serviced our rooms. When we requested towels via phone, we were told housekeeping was making their rounds and we could wait or come to the front desk. To expedite the process, I went down to the front desk. No washcloths were available due to the increased guest stays. Finally, I found the housekeeper and she gave me 1 washcloth for four people. Eventually, she gave me 2 more towels. We spent $200 at the bar - food was bland and frozen. Completely unimpressed. Over all, our experience was horrible. I’m a Marriottt member and this by far was not the quality and standards I expected. The staffs lack of quality customer service skills are going to drill this hotel in the ground.
If you need internet to work, this is not the hotel you want to stay at if you expect to get any work done or have a virtual meeting. Just horrible and when I called, I was asked, don't you have a phone. When I asked again, well - we called someone. The room and facilities were fine but I won't stay here again. I was here for 4 days and now my phone speed will be throttled until next month :(
We arrived on Saturday the room was freezing cold they did not have any extra blankets or sheets. The bathroom is so small and smell like sewage. The housekeeper half cleaned. The staff up front very rude and unprofessional. The ice machines do not work and the beverage machine broken. This staff really need some training in customer service. The sheet are horrible. The bathroom door you have to struggle to open. Asked housekeeper to make bed. She didn’t even change the sheets she just shook them out put the same ones on the bed. This place is sad.
The property is dated but the rooms are clean and relatively comfotable. during check-in the entertainer in the bar (right next to check in) thought he was Pete Townsend both the check-in employee and myself had to repeat ourselves three and four times for every sentence. went to the bar during 'Pete's break. female bartender got me a beer within a minute of sitting down. after 15 minutes had to ask the male bartender for a menu. he never came back to take my order. had to ask the female bartender for my tab. won't be back to this Marriott. sad!
