This was our 1st visit here. Very pleased with our visit. We ordered a catfish dinner and steak flatbread with fried pickles for an appetizer. Everything was delicious! Our server was very attentive and our service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be going back again.
We walked in and at first was greeted with a young girl who was very serious. We later joked saying she was the bouncer (all in good fun which sparked a nice smile ). Our waitress was not over bearing but welcoming and always smiling. Allison was her name and she was very nice.. We happened across the owner by accident. They had a "private party" come in early and we let the scene unfold. We would not of handled it as well as Ms. Jessica Did. She smiled as she expressed that they were early but that she would ask the other people to move to another seat. Upon looking my husband and I seen a whole family moved. She offered her apologies etc to them. She was very sorry I could see it and we could absolutely without a doubt fall in love with the values of this owner. She loves her customers. The food is fantabulous. We had fried pickles, hot wings, and Italian stallion. Only thing is the au jus a tab salty. Besides that nothing negative. The staff is amazing. This is a place to work or eat! Thank you for the experience we will be back frequently!
We have been eating here since they opened. We even ordered carryout during the covid shutdown. This place is really going downhill fast with their food. The last few times we have been here it just has not been good, from overcooked steak to cold pork shank and so on. Tonight was the final straw for us. I ordered seared cod which I've had probably a dozen times or more since this place has opened. It looks like crunchy cod is what I got. I asked to speak to the manager and she proceeded to tell me the kitchen dusts the cod with cornstarch prior to searing it. The cod I got tonight had thick, hard breading and was overcooked. The manager didn't seem to care and was quite a smart a**. She offered to replace it, but with baked cod. I don't want baked cod. Why can't they just sear it correctly?? All I can say is this was awful and the quality of the food is quickly declining. The manager is also a rude wench. Our waiter was good. The food sucked and management is awful. JJ's has lost long term loyal customers thanks to a terrible manager and rapidly declining food.
Excellent food. Cheese cake was better than most places. Steak was very flavorful. Highly recommended by me
J.J. Thermos had good service, drinks, and food. The building is beautifully redone, and the outside patio is great place to relax on a Friday night! Highly recommend!
