Recommendations: you can pick up last minute gifts here. Your kids will love you for that. Service: There were self checkouts and one cashier. The lady working the register was nice and made sure I found what I wanted. Building: Attached to the airport. Was clean and neat. Parking: plenty of parking at the airport. Cost: was a little high, but it’s an airport. It’s always that way. Doesn’t make it right. Notes: nothing to note
The store itself has so much potential, but the staff brings the rating down. It is well stocked and has a great variety of items. The problem is the staff , who seemed to think of the customer as a hindrance or a nuisance instead of someone who’s paying their paycheck. They seem to think that everyone should be fluent of how to work the self check machine and some of the people are not. Get a completely new staff and you’ll get many more five star ratings.
I come through this airport almost monthly. Nancy is always a welcome delight! Super friendly and welcoming, even after 4 hours of turbulence, she makes the trip better. Thank you!
They make you pay .49 for a plastic bag as you do self checkout and then tell you they don’t have any bags . When asking how to get your money back, the incredibly rude “working” girl shrugs her shoulders and says “I don’t know”! Horrible. 7/1/24 5:24pm
RUDE! Point blank! I guess I wasn’t moving fast enough in the SELF check out at 7AM and the woman came up to me with an ATTITUDE, rushed me through then had the nerve to get more of an ATTITUDE when I pulled the receipt the wrong way the first time. She legit rolled her eyes and said “really”. I apologized and she said “really” again. To which I replied “yes, really! I apologized and no one asked you to come over here in the first place. Stop being rude!” If these people don’t want to work with people, an airport shop is NOT the place to work!!
