Holiday Inn & Suites Albuquerque Airport, an IHG Hotel
What people are saying
Next time we are in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We will stay at the Holiday Inn and suites. This hotel had a low rating, which has definitely exceeded in accommodations and customer service. The hotel is in the middle of a renovation. They have done a good job with keeping areas tidy during this time. They are almost done. I look forward to our next visit to see all of the new upgrades and changes. I did see a lot of negative reviews, but I will say this hotel has rectified customers concerns. I would highly recommend this hotel. Having staff who care about the customer definitely shows at this hotel.
Not clean at all! The elevator was very dirty with lights hanging from the ceiling. The pool was disgusting!! The pool had a film of oil and debris floating on the top.The room was tiny and not a suite by any means. The bathroom was so gross I did not shower. The tile in the bathroom was broken and loose, not safe at all.NEVER staying here afain!!Unfortunately I'm not able to upload the pics I took.Look elsewhere, this place is gross, I'm checking out!!
We were very pleased. When we arrived for our extended stay, there was still a bit of remodeling being done, but now it looks completed. The staff has gone over and above with being friendly, professional and accommodating. What ever we needed, they took care of it. The hotel is close to the airport and restaurants, but not close enough to walk. The airport shuttle which services 4 or 5 hotels generally took only 10 minutes to pick us up. The restaurant is extra but the food is good and cheaper and quicker than ubering to someplace else. The hotel was always full and quiet and since it was just remodeled, everything looks and feels new and fresh. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Wanted to be near the airport for an early flight out, so this checked that box. Coffee was the worst I’ve had at any hotel, and I made the mistake of asking the front desk for a couple of coffee pods for the Keurig machine in our room ( as the “ coffee” they had downstairs in the lobby was lightly stained water) I was obviously bothering the gentleman I encountered, as he just stared at me like I was stupid before grudgingly retrieving the coffee. I maintained my positive attitude and thanked him, to which he turned his back on me and walked away. So much for “ Hospitality “
Don't stay at this location. Yes, they renovated almost everything, but they do not clean the room properly, not even the bare minimum. Stayed here for 2 weeks and had to clean my own room. The towels looked disgusting after "they just cleaned my room." I asked politely multiple times if they could actually deep clean my room. Never happened. Towel looked questionable, everytime they brought "clean" ones. Hairs everywhere after they "cleaned". Never whipped down counters on anything. I asked to speak to a manage and she never came. She did send two employees to come talk to me and took pictures of the stuff that obviously not clean. Ontop of bad customer service, they do not offer free breakfast like other locations. And the jacuzzi smells and looks questionable. It might be indoors but it's not worth it. The towels by the pool look evern more disgusting. This holiday inn has the lowest rate then others. Please go to the other locations and save yourself the disappointment. I almost forgot they did try to offer me a free appetizer after I explained how disappointing it was staying here.
