This is an awesome hotel. Clean and a great location with amazing service. Brent, the front desk employee is quite literally the nicest person I have ever met employed at a hotel. He is super professional and polite and proactive in assessing the needs of the guests. There were issues checking in, he constantly communicated what was going on, asked if I wanted to grab a drink while waiting and resolved it timely. Also, my child tripped and he ran and got ice for his head without asking. He also gave me suckers for my children to help fix the moods after the fall. I really appreciate him working here. If you see this, thanks Brent!
Excellent, my kids really enjoyed the breakfasts and the pool, I also enjoyed the hot tub. The place is wheelchair accessible but they do not have rooms with wheelchair accessible features like for the bathroom. I was able to get my large power chair into the room and there was enough space for me to park my chair comfortably out of the way of my mom and my kids. If I needed to transfer from my power chair to the bed I could do so easily, however my chair would not fit in the bathroom. In my case this was still workable since I can walk some with my crutches. I will try to remember to update this review with photos, I make no guarantees though.
I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Newport. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Newport, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. However, I found it to be a bit on the expensive side, and the WiFi was not very stable. Despite these issues, the great location and cleanliness made it a pleasant experience overall.
Brent at the front desk was so kind & accommodating! He upgraded our room for us & went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. This place had an excellent breakfast & the room was incredible!
I want so badly to give this place 5 stars. The service from front desk was really good! But as soon as we walked in our room and approached the bed, you could see a live cockroach in the crack of the headboard. My husband had to zoom in on it to confirm what it was and then we got a wash cloth to put it in the toilet. I was really scared to say anything after already having a hard time finding a place to stay last minute.. We really started looking everywhere after that and didn't see anymore but then when we pulled out the sofa bed, we found crumbs/chunks of food and kid toys from previous guests. ☹️
