I would give this facility 0 stars, but I had to select something. This terminal has gone downhill. The women's bathroom is absolutely disgusting. There are homeless people sleeping all over the benches in the waiting area. They also hang out in the bathroom.
We came in on the PATH train from Harrison and I was very pleased when we got off. Everything was well marked on where to go. They have a ticket booth if you needed tickets or had questions and they also had restrooms. There were police walking around as well. It was very easy to walk to Hoboken and to get back on the train and definitely not as intimidating as it might seem to a first timer (like I was). We were there 12/2/17 (a Saturday), which was probably why it wasn't extremely crowded either.
Easy to navigate .. Friendly NJ Transit staff ..
Don't worry. Very good view of Manhattan
