Paige and Rosanna were both super friendly and helpful at both pickup and drop off. They answered all my questions quickly and took me through the rental process very quickly. The brand new Camry I was in was GREAT! Very clean and a step above the base model, it had the upgrades and everything. Definitely recommend Hertz on Broad for renting a car in SLO.

I rented a car in October 2023 and was charged $23.54 for a fuel charge when I had filled up in Santa Maria (29 miles away). When I called to ask about the charge I was greeted with the worst customer service. She was rude and argumentative, even hung up on me. I didn’t further fight the charge and didn’t think about it again. Now in June 2024 I was needing a rental and was told I could not rent from hertz due to a dispute I had on a rental. Never heard of such thing but moved on and rented from Budget. I was told I could call Rosanna and get the issue resolved. Called and was again met with rude and awful customer service. I never argued the charge, just stated it seemed excessive but she continued to argue and hung up on me, again! After reading these reviews, it seems Rosanna might have this issue often.

There was a scratch noted before leaving that was not there afterwards. Claimed there was a new scratch when returning and they would have to repaint it. Charged $175 extra.

Rosanna was the best. I rented in June 2023 and she was so professional and helpful. Dealing with the public these days is never fun but she was so great to us. Car was a small sedan and brand new.

I usually never do reviews, but I want to thank Rosanna for providing top notch customer service. She’s always greets me with a smile and processes my rentals quickly. She’s friendly and welcoming and that’s why I choose this hertz location!
