Clean, organized, friendly workers - enjoyable buying experience. Had several lanes manned, so no waiting, and I didn't have to self check out. Added bonus, a bagger was there to assist! As Maine doesn't use disposable bags, I (as an out of stater) needed to purchase a reusable bag. The cashier identified a lesser expensive alternative to the one I randomly chose - that was greatly appreciated!

Staff is always helpful, courteous and kind. Shopping at this Hannaford location is just an effortless adventure. Will drive past other stores to go here just because the atmosphere is so calm and stress-free.

Has just about everything anyone could want But, the prices are just so very, very high, and this is from someone who shopped in Massachusetts a month ago. An Aldis would be nice, at least provide some competition and shopping choices. How do average ppl afford it?

First time finding out that pets aren't allowed in the store. I was there today, the night manager followed my boyfriend and I around the store, and said we cant have her in there, or we have to leave. I always bring my cat there, and all the suddenly now they tell me I can't bring her in the store?? Every other Hannaford I've been to let's me carry her around. She's very well behaved, friendly, and potty trained. Not to mention, I suffer with mental disabilities, and have severe social anxiety, so the cat I bring with me is my service pet... And there was another day where my son was crying, and he got yelled at by one of the workers(at another Hannaford)! He's a child who also has disabilities, and he doesn't know any better! I would also like to add that I've had constant bad luck with Hannaford in general. One day I ate their ready to eat chicken and it was RAW! Also, I used to get my medication from there, and I would have to wait about a month to receive them and pay for it, eventhough I have Mainecare. Plus, I worked for them at one point, and they fired me due to having autism. Yes, I filed a lawsuit against them... Way to disrespect your employees and customers who are disabled. Unbelievable! I'll be shopping at another store from now on... Never coming back here again!!

The baggers keep overloading my bags. I've had three bags' straps break on me because they shove everything into 2 bags when I bring in 4 bags. My food keeps getting squashed because they overload the bags every time.
